Description: The Pennington Biomedical Research Center, a research facility of the Louisiana State University System, is seeking a full time Postdoctoral Researcher to study clinical and population level walking behaviors across the lifespan and disease conditions including obesity. The primary responsibilities associated with this position are: 1) assistance in conducting complex statistical analyses of population datasets, 2) conducting research clinical intervention studies, and 3) preparation of research grant applications and research papers. It is anticipated that over the course of two years, the incumbent of this position will develop independent research projects related to the epidemiology of walking behavior, obesity and health. The Pennington Biomedical Research Center offers a rich collegial research environment with state-of-the-art facilities for computing and the statistical analysis of large, complex datasets.
