Public Health Fellowship at The American Public Health Association (APHA) announces a call for applications for the 2013 APHA Public Health Fellowship in Government. Deadline to apply: April 9, 2012.
APHA is looking for candidates with strong public health credentials who wish to spend one year in Washington, D.C. working in a CONGRESSIONAL office on legislative and policy issues such as health, the environment or other public health concerns. The fellow will have the opportunity to see first-hand how public policy impacts public health and to offer their public health expertise to policymakers.

About The National Cancer Institute (NCI), a major research component of the National Institutes of Health and the Department of Health and Human Services, is pleased to invite applications from qualified candidates for a Cancer Research Training Award (CRTA), with an emphasis on health behaviors research. The CRTA appointment, is a one- or two-year position with the Health Behaviors Research Branch (HBRB), Behavioral Research Program (BRP), Division of Cancer Control and Population Sciences (DCCPS) of the National Cancer Institute.
